The Apple Butter Boil and Chocolate Eggs
These two fundraisers bring in much needed funds for our community fire, ambulance and supporting departments, local pool maintenance, and other needs not only in Liverpool, but our surrounding communities as well. We welcome anyone who would like to join us in helping with these projects! You do not need to be a church member.
Community Ministerium Meal
The Community Ministerium Meals, which consists of 8 area churches, provides Easter and Thanksgiving meals for the area's elderly, sick, or alone. The meals are prepared and picked up at Barner's Lutheran Church. Delivery is available. The other area churches that also participate are Liverpool United Methodist, Good Shepherd, St. Matthew's, Reward, Salem, Dressler's Ridge and Turkey Valley. This tradition was started by Pastor James Beamer in 2000. Marlene Landis (pictured) is the current meal planner, her 25th year doing this outreach!
Perry County Food Bank
Whenever the Perry County Food Bank is in need, area churches are asked to collect donations to restock the pantry. Here at Barner's Church, we enjoy this endeavor! In 2024, Bob and Beth Sowers and Pastor Bob delivered the fruitful bounty!
Our Veterans
Here at Barner's Church we have many veterans! We are grateful to all veterans everywhere for their service! Thank you for serving our country! Pictured are Bobby Gelnett and Jim Ulanoski who were honored at Greenwood Elementary School in Noveber 2024.
Trash Pick Up
Trash pick up for 2025 will be Saturday, May 17th at 9:00am! High-vis vests, gloves and trash bags are provided!
